Meet Natasha Apollonova
MDB Insight recently welcomed Natasha Apollonova, Research Analyst, to our team. Natasha will be working from our Toronto office when protocols allow. It's unusual to welcome a new team member during a pandemic, but Natasha says "having great communication across the team, and being really organized, helps a lot!".
Prior to joining us, Natasha spent ten years in economic consulting, market intelligence and risk planning roles and held progressively senior policy and advocacy positions. Natasha’s past project engagements have involved identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies for businesses based on resource use. Her people skills, attention to detail, and strong research, communication, facilitation, and problem solving capabilities are a great fit with our team. Natasha has also proven her ability to obtain buy-in from senior management and stakeholders at all levels within organizations, which contributes significantly to project successes.
Natasha has experience that includes economic impact assessments, risk assessment, stakeholder consultations, workshop development and facilitation, and performance measurement and benchmarking for public and community benefit sector clients. Her first project tasks with MDB Insight have included research assignments that examined best practices in municipal service delivery, and consultation and research support for tourism projects.
Born in Russia, Natasha earned her MA in Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. She recently completed requirements towards a local economic development certificate at Ryerson University and is working towards her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
We are delighted to welcome Natasha to our team.
